Social housing national contest in the Province of Neuquén.
The Housing Prototypes Draft Projects National Contest is launched in the province taking into account its geographical diversity and with the aim to guarantee the high quality of social housing built by the Provincial Institute of Housing and Urban Development of the Province of Neuquén - Sustainable Urban Development Agency of the Province of Neuquén (IPVU- ADUS).
The objective of the contest is the development of two housing prototypes which should not only meet the minimum social housing quality standards, but also add value to the indoor and outdoor areas of the projects. Besides, they should also take into account the future growth of such projects.
One of the projects will be built in the Capital City of Neuquén, and the another one in Varvarco Town, Province of Neuquén.
In addition, the social housing program is intended for the construction of a two-bedroom family house. Regarding the features of the projects, the geography and culture of the two locations should be taken into account when drafting the projects.
From September 1st, all those interested can enroll. Then, up to September 21st, a query round will take place; and until the 24th all queries will be answered. The projects must be submitted on October 14th. Finally, on October 23rd, winners will be announced and awards will be delivered. Professional architects from the entire country can enroll in the contest.
